I have a very soft spot in my heart for Mexico....the food! The culture! The history! The tequila! But mostly I love the earth energy that radiates throughout this country. You can feel Pachu Mama shining thru. So come join me this fall at one of my favorite destinations in the world!
The only way to describe this experience is magical.
Originally a hippie surf spot, Sayulita is a vibrant and magical place located about 45 outside of Puerto Vallarta. It offers hot sand beaches, warm ocean water, surf breaks, street food, yoga, street entertainers, spas, street bars, tattoo artists, beach restaurants and shops everywhere in the midst of a natural setting between mountains and sea... something for everybody.
So bring your yoga mat, walking shoes, an open heart and yes, an appetite!
Enjoy 5 days/4 nights with me in magical, mystical Sayulita Nayarit Mexico. Our time together is all about transformation & healing all while taking the time to rest and rejuvenate mind, body and soul.
This trip is designed to nourish your soul and feed your body. There is daily yoga practice, but also plenty of time to eat, drink, explore and have some personal time.
Day 1
Arrive in Puerto Vallarta International Airport where we will be transported to beautiful Sayulita. We will be staying @ a luxury private with panoramic views that overlooks the ocean with a short 3 minute walk to beach and town
After we settle into our rooms, we will have overview of our time together followed by a private taco tasting tour thru town.
Activities: Airport transfer from Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita, Opening Circle
Meals Included: Dinner
Day 2
Start your day with the best breakfast in town followed by a hike thru the jungle ending with yoga on a private beach. Return to our home for some R&R
Your time is then free until we meet up again @ 330 pm for a private tequila/mezcal tasting. Dinner on your own.
Evening guided Chakra Healing Meditation.
Activities: Yoga, Tequila tasting, Meditation

Day 3
Get up to enjoy yoga and breath work on the patio. Another yummy breakfast to follow.
Day is free until late afternoon when we embark on the highlight of our trip, a authentic aztec temezcal ceremony, otherwise known as a sweat lodge.
This is a very special cleansing and purifying ritual.
Light dinner to follow.
Activities: Yoga, Breath Work, Authentic Aztec Temezcal Ceremony

Day 4
Take advantage of your last full day by enjoying a morning yoga practice on the beautiful patio followed by another amazing breakfast. We then meet up once again for Kirtan, our chanting meditation. After, have some well deserved free time to relax and enjoy a massage or simply stroll the town. Later this afternoon, we celebrate our time together with a closing ceremony and rooftop dinner.

Day 5
On our last day together, start your day with an early morning yoga practice followed by our final breakfast together. Time to pack with checkout by 11 am prior to our return home.

I had the pleasure of attending Debby Dowling’ s Cabo San Lucas Yoga Retreat.... one word can sum up the entire weekend: AMAZING! Every detail was clearly thought out and well planned.
Upon arriving in Cabo, our transportation was waiting to take us to our spectacular ocean view villa located in a private gated community. The villa offered clean and spacious accommodations for all of the attendees, most of us even had our own bathroom, and of course both a private pool and jacuzzi to use at our leisure. The outside patio provided a beautiful backdrop for our daily yoga practice, especially during the unbelievable sunrises. Our Private chef prepared several delicious and nutritious meals for us, with options for both vegetarians and meat eaters; there was always an abundance of healthy food choices, (and some goodies too)! The chips ,salsa and guacamole were to die for!!
Each day began with 90 minutes of yoga, with Debby breaking down and explaining poses, making adjustments helping us all deepen our practices. Besides yoga, Debby guided us in breathing exercises, mediations, as well as some journaling to help us to love and accept ourselves... and to set some personal goals to work towards. A very well balanced retreat forming and strengthening friendships, shedding tears together and sharing lots of laughter!
We even were able to explore some sights in Cabo San Lucas and experience some local food, culture and of course shopping!
Debby truly has a gift as not only a yoga instructor but also as a spiritual leader. Her calming and gentle demeanor always make you feel safe, accepted and loved. She has a unique ability to lift you up and encourage you to get out of your comfort zone. I left Cabo San Lucas feeling refreshed, recharged and eager to continue my journey. I look forward to joining Debby on another retreat in the future!!
